Measuring guide completion and fixing drop-offs
Read the step funnel, find the step that loses people, and fix the usual three causes.

Open Guides › Analytics and pick a guide. Look at three numbers:
| Number | A healthy first guide |
|---|---|
| Completion rate | 60% or more |
| Biggest single drop | Under 15 points |
| Dismissed | Under a third of starts |
Find the step
The step funnel shows the share of starters who reached each step, and flags the biggest drop with a likely reason.
Fix the three usual causes
The anchor moved. If the reason says the anchor may be missing, open Anchors. A stale anchor usually means the attribute was dropped in a redesign. Put it back; the funnel recovers the same day.
The clip is out of date. If the UI changed since you recorded it, people see one thing in the clip and another on screen. Re-record the step and publish a new version.
The step asks too much. A step like "Fill in your company details" hides five actions. Split it, or complete it with an event when the form is saved instead of on the first tap.
Compare versions
Every event carries the guide version, so after you publish a fix, compare the next week's funnel with the last. If it is worse, roll back in one click.
Export
Export downloads the raw events as CSV for your own analysis. To track guides alongside the rest of your product analytics, use onEvent in init.
