Acceptable use policy
Last updated 9 October 2026
You may not use PlayStep, its SDKs or its hosting to:
- show guides or clips that are illegal, infringe others' rights, or contain malware, hate speech, harassment or sexual content involving minors;
- trick end users, for example guides that imitate system dialogs to collect passwords or payment details;
- collect personal data from end users through PlayStep beyond what the SDK sends by design, or without the notices and consents the law requires;
- host files unrelated to guides, or use clip hosting as a general file or video CDN;
- probe, overload or disrupt the Service or other customers, or bypass plan limits, keys or metering;
- resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement.
We may remove content or suspend a workspace that breaks this policy, with notice where practical. Report abuse to abuse@playstep.app.
