Spend caps and alerts
A monthly limit on overage, and emails before you reach your allowance or cap.
Spend cap
Pro workspaces have a $25 monthly overage cap by default. Owners can change it, or remove it, in Settings › Usage & billing.
When overage reaches the cap:
- New users stop seeing guides until next month, or until you raise the cap.
- People already in a guide can finish it.
- Your app never breaks: the SDK reads a flag in the published config and simply does not start new guides.
Raising or removing the cap lifts the pause within a minute.
Free plan limit
Free stops the same way at 250 guided users or 1 GB of hosted video, until next month or until you upgrade.
Alerts
Owners get an email, and the workspace inbox shows an alert, at:
- 50%, 80% and 100% of the guided users and hosted video allowance (Free: 80% and 100%),
- 80% and 100% of the spend cap.
Each alert is sent once per month.
